Welcome,
To the fun of Co-op shopping!
The Mountain People’s Warehouse is a distributor of many of the same products you would find in Mother’s Markets or Whole Foods Grocery Stores. They sell them to us for a little under what you may pay in those markets without the hassle of having to drive that far! They will deliver to us!
Our Co-op group will make a monthly order the Thursday closest to the next New Moon and it will be delivered for us that same Saturday afternoon!
(for dates go to our website under The Thirteen Lunar Mothers, the dates listed are for the Circle that meets the next day)
Orders can be faxed on Thursday or before to:
949-361-2899 or emailed to: NannyCrone@cox.net.
If you do not have access to either of these modes you can call-in and leave your order on message machine @
949-369-5378
You will receive a catalog ($3) and a sale booklet for the current month with the specials. When ordering pay careful attention to the item #!! This is important as you will be responsible if you transpose numbers on an item and accidentally get something you didn’t want!
The catalog is sectioned off as:
Bulk Items
Refrigerated
Frozen
Pet
Grocery
Personal Care
Supplements
Non-Foods
Many of the items are
Organic, sugar-free, hormone/pesticide free, wheat-free and vegan. They also sell organic meat products and special “raw food” products like Kim Chi and Salad Zing!
You can purchase herbs by the pound to make your own tinctures or buy the tinctures already made!
When I still had kids at home I would buy their grains in bulk and grind my own flour!
They have all kinds of seeds for spouting as well as organic nuts and seeds.
Specialty items such as “seaweed chips”, 100% beeswax candles or unbleached wax sandwich bags are really a treat.
They also have healthy-for-the-planet cleaning products.
When you make your order don’t forget that there is tax on non-food items and a co-op fee of 10% (of your total) on the processing of your order.
If you want to volunteer to meet the truck (at Casa de la Luna Madre), separate orders and calculate totals you can forgo the 10% co-op fee.
It is requested that you make yourself available to pick up your order after it is processed. The truck usually comes around noon, but depending on how many volunteers we have processing it may be a few hours till your order is ready.
If you are attending the next days “Ladies Circle” (information on this Circle can be found on our website, bottom of page) you can pick-up your order at that time.
The address for Casa de la Luna Madre is
126 E. Escalones
San Clemente
