Rapturous Rosemary

Clean, strong, potent rosemary!  This is a stately herb/oil whose ruler is the Sun.  It was one of the first fragrances used in rituals.  Rosemary was seen as a symbol for the great circle of life and death.  Her name from the Latin, Marinus means “dew of the sea”.  In our bad ol days of insensitivity and thick heads we may think that Marinara sauce or rosemary chicken is the extent of her uses.   Oh, how far the descent we brutish ones!  We would do well to re-introduce this fragrance to the outside world once again.   I did my best at one time but tired of comments like “do you smell someone cooking something?”  As a teacher I used rosemary in our home school classroom to stimulate clarity, concentration and creativity.
