Powerful Peppermint

Peppermint Patty was not only delightful but she was bossy (in a nice way) and so is Peppermint essential oil.  Peppermint is ruled by Mars, the god of War and this little weed (that will take over an entire garden in a season) does its duty pronto.  Once I decided to see how peppermint would work as an underarm deodorant.  I slathered on a few drops willy nilly under each pit and waited.  It only took a second to become aware of my bloodstream.  Yes, I had a peppermint blood flow for I could feel it as it coursed its way down to my feet.  I almost felt as if I could start hallucinating!  I wish to make this very clear, use this oil sparingly!  Less than a drop will do ya!
I remember one particularly hot summer at the herb shoppe.  I used to sell my peppermint oil by putting one little drop on the nape of a customers neck.  Within minutes they were cooled down.  It works the same for hot flashes too (but then you have to smell like a candy cane for a bit).  Headaches respond remarkably well to a dot of “P” (keep away from the eyes!).    Using peppermint in shampoos gives your scalp a fresh feel.  You can put a dab on your tongue as a breath freshener or in salt in use as  toothpaste.  For those with a flatulence problem, it freshens up a bit there too.
