Everywhere I go, I find a poet has been there before me.

Merry Meet Lady Luna
Hail, Worship
The goddess of Blood
I anticipate your soon coming
I sense the quakes from my earth
I anxiously await the Lava sho
As a maiden I was cast no ceremony
No R’tu
You came and went with the heavenly shifts
But I turned my face
Your signs were a nuisance
Your depth named a curse
Your magick feared
Such a pity, the waste
A shame
A mother I became, I grew into
I met you, but only a stone cut image of you
Cold and hard, hard and fast
To be feared and respected
The tide so powerful
I struggled in vain to control you
YOU-still not named by me
I was unattached from you
From my own being
So helplessly I yielded and rode your perilous wave
Mabon-the Autumn Equinox arrives for me
Just there at the horizon
I can see both ways
Not quite a Crone
Yet mothering a full meal
From yesterday that leaves me sated;
Content
I’m finally alone with you, savoring you
Lady Luna
I see you disappearing into myself
It’s as though you have run your course
And given your all
There are only a numbered amount of moons
A few handfuls if that
I will miss you Lady Luna
That is why I savor you as I do now
That is why I celebrate, I R’tu
I don the garb, I drink the wine
Gather flowers, write the sonnets
I light the sacred candle
The Crone, the wise blood keeper
I am on my way
I hear her calling in the night
Lady Luna forever inside me
No more “Merry Meet/Merry Part
Each cycle I swallow her whole
I swallow the Moon and I shine
Hail-Worship
The Goddess of Blood
