The Moon Mother is Jacqueline DuBois, wyfe of many years and lifetimes to renowned Psychic/Medium/Channeler Daniel DuBois. She is the mother of three fabulous children and grandmother to six grandchildren!  She and her Loverboy live in an enchanted beach cottage in sleepy San Clemente California with their two cats, the “Moonies”. 
The DuBois household has been a quiet refuge for many years.  As they were raising and home educating their children Daniel and Jacqueline opened their hearth and hearts to wimmin and children in crisis through a Shepherding home.  They also dedicated ten years of activism though non-violent protests where “jail time” spoke clearly of their commitment to the cause of Pro-Life issues.   They have focused on building a family business where their children could learn entrepreneurial skills.  Presently this same business is anachronistically and prosperously maintained by their grown children, proving that skill and dedication to a craft is a viable alternative to working for faceless corporations.

Jacqueline has studied Christianity from the Fundamentalist and the Catholic perspective extensively.  She is trained in EST, Wimmin’s Spirituality and in Magickal Systems.  She also finds the Hindu philosophy comforting and has practiced Yoga since the age of 15 consistently.  Although very much a solitary practitioner of what some may call “Witchcraft” she finds that she comes from an understanding of Egregorical traditions that bridges many chasms between people.

Jacqueline is a self-taught Doula/herbalist/aromatherapist/flower essence practitioner.  Being a voracious reader and an action oriented Aries with her moon in Pisces and rising in Aquarius learning has been a passion.  From lecturing on healthy cooking to using herbs for healing and magickal fun she brings to the forum not only information, but years of practice!  She created the lecture series called “Under the Tree, a Wimmin’s Circle”, a gathering of wimmin whose talents were reflected in womyncraft through art, movement, and practical hands-on herbal lore.  She also volunteers to lead special rituals like Menarche Ceremonies for young wimmin and teaches R’Tu (Jacquie’s word for ritual) with the aid of her large collection of ritual tools (many of which have been created by her friends) all revolving around her love for the moon’s cycle (whom she addresses as Lady Luna). Her love for community has inspired her to teach many classes gratis.  “Free Family Yoga” taught in a picturesque park was a resounding success.  “How to Be a Health Food Nut” taught in a local community center was inspiring for novices and adepts alike. 

Jacqueline opened her herb shoppe, called “The Monk’s Garden” in San Clemente in 1999.  From there she launched into her international newsletter “Holiness in the Home”, a monthly offering on spirituality and ritual, healthy lifestyle, home education and childbirth from the Doula’s perspective.  Now after a short sabbatical where she authored works on erotica and advised on a book written by a friend of hers on herbs , she is once again embarking on a monthly offering to her friends around the world called “Moon Wise Witchery”.

Currently she is working on an ever-expanding line of herbal products that celebrate “WimminSpirit”, called The Moon Mother’s Magickal Botanickals.  Potions for every aspect of family life.  Being a grandmother (NannyCrone), she is still very much involved with herbs for little nymphs. A line of tinctures and bath products for sensitive sweet pink skin.  With daughters still in childbearing and breast feeding years she has herbs especially for those Birthing and Nursing Goddesses.  Teenagers have their own special needs, that Jacquie knows quite well as she still remembers those years!  Hormonal Help!  Speaking of Hormones!  For those who are in the throes of Menopause, or Menopoise as a good friend of hers terms it, Jacqueline is intimately acquainted and very motivated to help!  A daily drinking tea (or convenient tincture) called Vagina Tea is packed with natural nourishment and hormone balancing with the extra bonus of reclaiming the most beautiful word in all the world, the very lap of the Goddess!   The Men are not left out of the mix either.  Her newest product for Male Sexual Enhancement and sensitivity, called Phallic Phantasy has met with rave reviews!
